What.A.Day.

Today was one hell of a day.  It was a test of how far I could go and how much I could take. Seemed like a Wednesday shift with the back to back meetings plus a readout.  I think I left the conference room thrice only - to take a quick cig break and a trip to the washroom.

It started out real bad. So bad that I broke down in the conference room but ended on a good note - with my training kiddos being recognized for all their efforts.  I'm effin' proud of them, especially their big brother.  :)

Tonight will even be more hectic...with back to back meetings starting at 11pm and ending at 6am. Seems I'll be taking residence again in the conference room and it's a "no lunch" day once more.  And I think Thursday's gonna be a busy day too..less meetings but I have to screen good call submissions and decide on the QCAs.

This is a premonition of things to come..with the summit happening real soon.  But it's fine.  This will be the opportunity to show what my training and quality kiddos do for the program.  As soon as the summit's over it's time for a few beers.   Now that's something to look forward to.

'Nuff said.
